Meteor-3 TOMS CD-ROM Information

Version 8 Meteor-3 TOMS CD-ROMS containing ozone and reflectivity data are now available. The entire Meteor-3 TOMS ozone and reflectivity dataset (1991-1994) has been placed onto CD-ROM (NOTE: Only data taken when Meteor's orbit had a local equator crossing time between 8am - 4pm (9am - 3pm for 1991 data) is included on the CD-ROM). Contents of the CD-ROM include:

• Daily gridtoms data (ozone and reflectivity) from 1991-1994.
• Overpass data for 371 ground locations.
• Daily GIF images of the ozone data (sorry, no reflectivity images).
• Daily zonal means for the ozone data.
• Meteor-3 TOMS User's Guide in Adobe Acrobat format (reader software included)

GIF image viewers are provided for PCs running Windows and for systems running the Mac operating system. Daily ozone data may also be visualized by using the included VisuAnalyze Lite software. This software allows the user to select the projections and color scales to be used in viewing the data. Windows and Macintosh versions are included.
